Terms of Service

Last Revised: October 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Human Art Launch ("Service", "Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), accessible at https://humanartlaunch.com. By creating an account, uploading artwork, participating in daily showcase voting, commenting, or using any part of the Service, you ("user", "you") agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy.

Human Art Launch provides a daily showcase and community archive for original artwork. If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, do not access or use the Service.

2. Original Authorship Standards

Every user submitting artwork to the Service agrees to the following standards:

  • Original Authorship: You represent and warrant that all artwork submitted through your account is your original creation, produced directly through your own artistic skill and effort.
  • Eligible Disciplines: The Service accepts traditional physical visual arts (oil, acrylic, watercolor, ink, pencil, charcoal, pastel, ceramic, sculpture), digital illustration and painting (Procreate, Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Krita, Corel Painter), vector design (Illustrator, Affinity), manual 3D modeling and digital sculpting (Blender, ZBrush, Maya), and un-synthesized optical photography.
  • Prohibition of Generative AI Output: Artwork generated by text-to-image prompts or neural diffusion models (such as Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, DALL-E, Flux, Ideogram), generative infilling, outpainting, prompt-overpainting, or automated synthetic upscaling is strictly prohibited.
  • Process Verification: To protect community standards, administrators may request process documentation for flagged submissions. This may include timelapse recordings, layered software project files (PSD, Procreate, KRA), preliminary sketches, or photographs of the work in progress. Failure to provide requested verification upon reasonable request may result in removal of the submission.

3. Intellectual Property Rights & Limited Display License

You retain full copyright and ownership of your creative work. Submitting artwork to Human Art Launch does not transfer or assign copyright or intellectual property rights to us or any third party.

  • Limited Display License: By uploading artwork, you grant Human Art Launch a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license solely to host, store, transcode, display, and format your artwork to operate the Service, and to feature daily winners and highlighted artworks across platform feeds and official social channels with artist attribution.
  • Artwork Removal and Deletion: You retain complete control over your portfolio. You may delete any submission or delete your account at any time through your profile settings. Upon deletion, your artwork is removed from public feeds and deleted from our active databases in accordance with our data retention schedule.
  • No Commercial Exploitation: We will not sell your artwork, create unauthorized physical prints, mint digital tokens (such as NFTs), or license your intellectual property to third parties without your prior written authorization.

4. AI Training & Scraping Prohibition

The Service prohibits the unauthorized harvesting, scraping, or automated extraction of artwork, images, and artist portfolios for use in artificial intelligence or machine learning datasets:

  • No AI Dataset Licensing: Human Art Launch does not sell, license, syndicate, donate, or deliver user submissions, artwork metadata, or comments to third parties for artificial intelligence or machine learning model training.
  • Machine-Readable Directives: Hosted artwork is served with noai and noimageai metadata and crawler directives signaling to automated crawlers that extraction is unauthorized.
  • Automated Scraping Prohibition: Bulk downloading, harvesting, or scraping of artwork, images, or user profiles using bots, crawlers, or scripts is prohibited. Violations may result in account termination, IP address restrictions, and legal remedies.

5. Accounts, Security & Eligibility

To submit artwork, participate in voting, or comment, you must authenticate through a supported identity provider (Google OAuth):

  • Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete the data.
  • Account Responsibility: You agree to provide accurate profile information and are responsible for all activities and submissions conducted under your account.
  • Security Breach Notification: If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, notify us immediately at [email protected].

6. Daily Showcases & Voting Integrity

The Platform operates daily 24-hour showcases with a curated capacity cap:

  • One Vote per Artwork: Each registered user may cast one vote per artwork per day. Votes must reflect genuine artistic evaluation.
  • Prohibited Manipulation: Using automated bots, script upvoters, duplicate accounts, vote-trading groups, or paid upvoting services to influence rankings is prohibited. Manipulated votes will be disqualified.
  • Result Verification: Daily rankings and awards are audited prior to final recording. We reserve the right to correct rankings, nullify votes, or disqualify submissions if manipulation is identified.

8. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not engage in any of the following activities on the Service:

  • Plagiarism & Art Theft: Submitting artwork created by other artists without authorization or falsely claiming original authorship.
  • Unauthorized Tracing: Submitting direct traces of third-party artwork, photographs, or copyrighted images without substantial transformative alteration and legal authorization.
  • Unlawful or Harmful Content: Publishing non-consensual imagery, sexually explicit material involving minors, defamatory remarks, hate speech, or content inciting violence.
  • System Abuse: Deploying bots, scrapers, automated voting tools, or distributing unsolicited spam comments.
  • Security Probing: Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or probing vulnerabilities of the Service or its underlying database and media infrastructure.

9. Moderation, Delisting & Account Suspension

We maintain moderation oversight and community reporting tools to uphold platform standards. Human Art Launch reserves the right to:

  • Conceal or delist any submission that is under review for suspected AI generation, copyright infringement, or vote manipulation.
  • Invalidate manipulated votes and recalibrate daily rankings.
  • Suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
